The North Face Surge Backpack is a school backpack that won’t shy away from airplane travel to your second favorite state. Or your least favorite state. FlexVent™ suspension provides you with injection-molded straps and a padded mesh back panel with a spine channel to help with ventilation. Right up against the back panel is a laptop-specific section, padded and fleece-y to protect up to a 15″ computer, that lies flat for security checkpoints. A sizable main compartment carries books, binders, and lunch, or just a big pile of gym clothes. The front compartment has a padded, fleece pocket for a tablet and internal organization. Three additional external pockets stash away phone, wallet, and all sorts of goodies you must bring along for the ride.
